Who certifies individuals as a LEED professional?
Green Business Certification Inc.™ (GBCI) exclusively administers project certifications and professional credentials and certificates within the framework of the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) green building rating systems.

What are the requirements to become LEED certified?
GBCI recommends that you have exposure to LEED and green building concepts through educational courses, volunteering or work experience prior to testing. You must be over the age of 18 years and agree to exam policies.

How much does it cost to take the exam in order to get certified?
LEED Green Associate is $250, $100 for students, and $200 for members. LEED AP with Specialty combined exam is $550, or $400 for members.
